STUART — It’s no easy task trying to get more than $100 million of boating and marine inventory shoehorned into the site for the annual Stuart Boat Show. But somehow, 190 exhibitors manage to get it done every year.

And this year is no different. Cooperation and communication, patience and persistence are truly keys to success at the annual expo, said April Price, president of the Marine Industries Association of the Treasure Coast.

“Set up is going really well,” Price said. “Everyone is cooperating very well, and we’re looking forward to a great boat show.”

Price said she is really excited this year because so many exhibitors have so many new products coming out and on hand this weekend. Many of the boat dealers are rolling out 2016 models that already are getting a lot of orders.

“Business has been very strong this season, and we really have a lot of momentum heading into this show,” explained Brian Cunningham of Vero Marine Center. “We’ll have six boats in this year’s show, including boats no one else has yet.”
