STUART — It’s time to spin props and kick rub rails.

The best little big marine expo in South Florida will open its gates next Friday for the 42nd annual Stuart Boat Show.

The event, which showcases the best and brightest for the boating lifestyle, will take over Dixie Highway north of the old Roosevelt drawbridge and along the floating docks between Allied Marine and HMY Yachts next weekend.

Allsports Productions is already at work installing floating docks to connect the marinas and boat sellers are busy washing and waxing their best offerings and bringing in new inventory to entice landlubbers out onto the waters of the Treasure Coast this upcoming boating season.

The Marine Industries of the Treasure Coast, owners of the show, will have more than 190 exhibitors at this year’s three-day event that will feature watercraft from paddleboards and small inflatable boats up to 80-foot-long sportfishers, trawlers and cruising yachts.
